I Eat Paint, part II.

Despite lightheadedness, nausea and stomach cramps, my new all-paint diet is working out great!

Nine out of ten kids would rather eat paint than vegetables.

Paint contains beneficial bacteria that promote healthy digestion.

Paint can be as messy as it is delicious; use a napkin or bib.

A high-paint diet may also help reduce the risk of heart disease and diabetes.

He's dogs best friend!

It's hard to argue with the health benefits of a diet rich in tones and values: Lower blood pressure; reduced risk of heart disease, stroke, and probably some cancers; lower risk of eye and digestive problems; and a mellowing effect on blood sugar that can help keep appetite in check.

I miss my friends.

I don't miss college.

A Great Unblinking Eye

woah I never knew how cool the Blogger stats section was. Now I know you've been googling me this month.

And enjoy the GTA music too.

I Eat Paint.

The potential health benefits of an all-paint diet are widely accepted in the paint-eating community.

OM NOM NOM.

Hues, chromatics and values are all part of a balanced paint diet. Greems should be consumed sparingly.

Many of mankind's earliest foods were also paints. In this way, the paint diet has much in common with eco-primitivism, and the raw food movement. Paint eating is conscientious but also delicious.

I often go back for seconds.

Yes, I Want To Fry That.

I made Buffalo Wings.

I used a combination of this Google search result, orange zest, the deep-frying methods described in I'm Just Here For The Food by Alton Brown, and more hot sauce.

Please ignore the fried artichoke. It wasn't very good.

Oh, did I mention? There's also a pie!
This peanut butter pie was made from homemade peanut butter crafted from roasted peanuts, all courtesy of the Good Eats episode, Peanut Gallery. Wow... THAT'S A LOTTA NUTS!!!

The Hanging Gardens

The rats, I think, are unhappy.

They don't have the all-you-can-eat diet they once enjoyed.

They don't receive visitors anymore.

When I let them out, they shit all over my bed.

I think they know what they're doing.

I've stopped letting them out.
There are wet paintings everywhere.
Also did I mention they shit all over my bed?

The rats are rankling under their new lifestyle.

They are moody.
They nip at my fingers.

They have come to personify my Id.

In an effort to suppress my Id, I have come up with a new way to decorate the rat cage.

Keftedes and Spanakopita

Gee, it must have been Greek Week...

First the keftedes, Greek meatballs...
Let me show you my hot caud.
These balls were from the Three Ancient Cuisines cookbook.

..and the Spanakopita.

Phyllo dough is fun to work with, but I'd never want to make the stuff.
Peepin!

I love Spanakopita so much, and will totally make this again. However, I will use like 3 times the spinach. This recipe is from The Complete Book of Pizza by Louise Love. Her brown sugar pizza crust is insanely good, but that's another post.

I also made Ginger Ale...

Ginger Ale recipe by way of Alton Brown's Good Eats ginger episode, Rise of the Rhizome.

Yum-O, bitch!
